PowerPoint: Good, Bad (and the Pretty Ugly)

Face it, we all hate PowerPoint, but it’s the only tool we have to
bridge the gap between the presenter and an audience. We’re going to
take a look at common mistakes, cliches, and techniques used to make a
good presentation look bad (or a bad presentation look good). Join
faculty, staff and students for a PowerPoint demonstration on Wednesday,
March 10th from 11:30-1:30 in the NW meeting room in the Food Court.
This presentation will demonstrate effective uses of animations, videos,
and other content in your PowerPoint slides. The primary focus will be
on general PowerPoint presentations, however, alternate techniques for
effective classroom lecture and online course delivery will be
addressed.

Bring your lunch, dessert will be provided. Everyone is welcome!
