today’s lunch:

water
chicken breast
sage leaf + sage powder
herbs of provence
garlic (whole cloves)
1/2 chopped white onion
2 stalks celery
a few cups of dried split peas
white pepper
sea salt

boil the water, add the chicken breast, garlic, and sage leaves. cook until chicken is done. remove and chop chicken. return chicken to pot. add split peas (i previously soaked them for an hour). add the other veggies, and additional seasonings. cook until peas are cooked, and mushy.

eat. delicious.
