One of my favorite rums is Coruba, by Appleton Estate. It’s a DARK rum. And in my opinion, is much darker and stronger than Myers Rum.
Coruba Jamaica Rum is a traditional planter’s rum, the historic sort that first distinguished Jamaica as a producer of quality rums. Distilled in small batches using time-honored methods and traditional copper stills, Coruba derives its flavor from the richest cane molasses Jamaica has to offer. It is a full-flavored, full-bodied dark rum, and an exceptional mixer. Its smooth taste can be used to create truly outstanding rum punches, though it is equally enjoyable with cola, tonic, or other simple mixers.
