Looks like vending machine prices increased at the University of Arkansas campus Tuesday morning.
Coca-Cola and other soft drinks are now $1.50. (They were $1 the day before).
Snickers are 85 cents (along with other snacks).

WTF. I think when students come back in the fall we should do a “picket” against the price increase. I feel like they can’t even give us $1 cokes on campus – they gotta try to suck every little penny out of us. Bastards!
Yeah, I saw that too.
But the way I look at it, I’m spending $3.69 (today) at the gas pump and $1.49 for my Coke Zero 20oz inside the store.
I don’t buy candy bars there but I’m sure they have gone up too.
I know my overall food budget is wacked at the end of three weeks.
Thank god for the $1 menu at McDonald’s.
I picked up Eggs, Milk, Bread, and Bacon last weekend for a ‘romantic’ Sunday brunch, and the total cost was around $15. Come on, what the hell? Oh and the brunch turned out to be solo, so that really sucked.
I asked the grocery store guy what was going on and he said it was because of Ethanol.
This freaking oil thing is taking all the prices up. I never agreed with the Bush Ethanol program. I mean, come on, we are burning FOOD here. FOOD!!!
