Yeah, you’ll be laughing at this at first, but it’s a REALLY good album.
“Meet Glen Campbell“, the latest (and 59th) release from Glen Campbell is pretty bad-ass.
The first track that I heard was a cover of the Foo Fighters’ “Times LIke These”, but the album also contains covers of songs by Lou Reed, Paul Westerberg, U2, Green Day, Tom Petty, John Lennon, and Jackson Browne.
Backing musicians include Jason Falkner & Roger Manning, Jr (from Jellyfish), members of Cheap Trick, and some phenomenal studio musicians (who’s played with Prince, Danzig, and other groups).
