Just talked to mom

Lacey (my youngest sis) was expecting a baby on Feb 25th (which is my bday, and Misty’s (the other sis) bday as well).

Lacey’s been having things like gestational diabetes, puking a dozen + times a day EVERY day, and they’re finally going to induce labor on monday or tuesday.

Supposed to be a little girl.

A Christmas night post-practice altercation between Tennessee State University men’s basketball coach Nolan Richardson III and assistant Hosea Lewis escalated to the point of Richardson retrieving a gun from his car and returning to the Gentry Center with it, Richardson told TSU police.
The incident resulted in Richardson’s suspension the following day by Athletics Director Teresa Phillips, and she released this statement along with the TSU police report obtained yesterday by The Tennessean:
”Tennessee State University has officially suspended men’s basketball head coach Nolan Richardson III, pending termination proceedings. Mr. Richardson was relieved of his coaching duties on Thursday, Dec. 26, and is not allowed on the campus premises, nor is he allowed any contact with athletics personnel.”
The incident stemmed from a practice that was attended by only four players, after which Richardson was concerned that more players were not present and that the practice time had been misunderstood by Lewis.
After a verbal exchange and brief physical contact involving a gym bag carried by Lewis, Richardson — according to his statement — told Lewis, ”OK, I’ll be back.”
According to his statement, Richardson then went to his car ”to get a crowbar and saw my gun there and I took it. But it had no clip or anything.”
By that time, according to the TSU police report, assistant coach Christopher Graves, the only witness to the confrontation, had persuaded Lewis to leave the premises.
As Graves returned to the Gentry Center, his statement to police read: ”I heard the sound of someone racking a handgun and saw Coach Richardson put what appeared to be a gun in the front pocket of his sweatshirt.
”Coach Richardson asked me where he could find Coach Lewis because he ‘had something for him’ as he put his hands into the pocket, through which I could clearly see the outline of said handgun.”
Later, according to Graves’ statement, Richardson ”reached into his pocket, turned his body away from me, took out the handgun and attempted to unchamber a round.”
Attempts to contact Richardson at his home yesterday were unsuccessful. Lewis and Graves declined to comment.
There are no criminal charges pending against Richardson. The matter will be taken to the district attorney only if one of the parties involved wants to press charges, which could range from a misdemeanor for carrying a weapon on school property to felony assault.
