We found him through the Fayetteville Animal Shelter on Saturday September 15th 2007. Filled out the paperwork to adopt him two days later, and picked him up on Friday the 19th. He’s a 2 year old Borador (Border Collie/Labrador mix).
After arguing about names for an entire week, we finally settled on one of our first choices – Hoover – in memory of our friends Sharon and Steve. (Sharon would have rolled her eyes at the thought of this, but would secretly love it.)
So far, nicknames include “Hoov”, “The Hoov” and “Hoo Hoo”.
We’ve been walking twice a day, including a 45 minute walk across to the other side of Mt. Sequoyah to play yesterday.

I photographed Toula last week. The shots turned out great, and she claimed she wasn’t photogenic !
Her band, Night After Night, plays at the Gypsy (with Unnamed Army and Soular) on Sept 6th ($5!). Check it out !

An old friend, Mitzi, aka DJ Holly Go Darkly, had an idea for a Vintage Era Glam photoshoot.
