So Sunday was my birthday, and it was decided to have a deck party at Dede‘s house.
Big thanks to her and Alex, from Tienda el Progresso, who supplied the food for the event.
Alex made me a special batch of Chicken Pozole, and a large peach/pineapple Tres Leches Cake. I also scored 32 oz of Salsa Verde and Salsa Rojo from there.
I made Queso, Bean dip, and about 13 gallons of Sangria.
A pinata was pummeled, and Marc Laney, Merl, and Dirty Allie laid down some tracks.
Thanks to everyone who showed up and celebrated with me ! Jill took lots of photos, which I still haven’t looked through !
