From: Paul Blubaugh (drsimple@richnet.net) Postcard from Tim Smith ----------------------- The front of the postcard says, "There once was a little Jellyfish (printed in the "Spilt Milk" logo) who formed a big band . . . Umajets (printed in the same typeface as on the Umajets CD)" The card reads as follows: Salutations Jellyfish Fans!! I know it's been a long time, and sadly, Jellyfish is no more! But take heart! Ex-Jelly Tim is here to give you the latest poop. Andy was last seen writing and producing for a Japanese musician, and is believed to be hiding out with a large collection of kimonos -- Roger and Eric have formed a band called "Imperial Drag," and are finishing a record, set for April - May release. As for me -- bass player Tim -- I've formed a band called "Umajets" and with the help of several Jellyfish alumni, we recorded some demos for record company perusal. Roger played and co-produced it, co-wrote a song, and even played drums on one! Eric played a bitchin' guitar and bass on several tunes, while Shalom - J.F. live engineer -- mixed it. Our little collection of demos, spiffed up a bit and put on CD (titled "Demolotion;" get it?), is available only here in Atlanta, but after many letters from you, and unpaid phone bills by me, we've decided to have some mail order fun -- interested? To get "Demolotion," make your check or money order payable to Umajets in the amount of $15, and then mail to: Umajets 1387 Oxford Road NE - Suite 203 Atlanta, GA 30307 I'll pack you one before ya know it! Want more info on the band? E-mail us: Umajets@aol.com, or send a SASE to the address above
