us, iraq, etc….

It was real interesting to find out that a relative, working for the CIA, was sent over to Kuwait for a couple of months for some diplomatic duties.
They were told to be back in the US before Dec. 20th…. war will come soon thereafter.

soup IS good food

made homemade potato soup tonite
started off with a garlic broth
take 3 heads of garlic, cut them lengthwise, sautee in olive oil, careful not to brown them….wait till they turn translucent.
Squish em.
Pour this mixture into about 9 cups of water. Boil. Add salt & pepper to taste.
