oy vay….
i took today off do do a few things…
took off my bad tire, and went to wal-mart to get a replacement. they had a special on some goodyears for $20 each, so i got two, one for each of my front tires. alas, there’s a 2 hour wait. so, I ready myself for TWO HOURS at wal-mart.
Luckily, I have a couple of projects that I’m working on, or about to start working on…
so, I:
1. bought some remnant material in the craft/sewing section to wrap around the cinder blocks.
2. looked at different types of lighting fixtures to put inito my aquarium canopy that I’m building
3. ended up buyiing these halogen ‘puck’ units
4. got stuff to fight a flea infestation (those spot drops for cats, high fashion purple flea collars, and sevendust….gonna dust the cats and the apartment…then vacuum)
5. ate lunch at the mcdonalds there…well, mainly drank a dr. pepper and watched ‘dexter’s laboratory’ on the tv
waited
waited
waited
and it finally was almost THREE HOURS in wal-mart.
Things I noticed/observed:
1. They clean scuffs on the linoleum with a tennis ball, on a stick.
2. No matter how cool and suave you appear to be, it all disappears the second you open your mouth and the southern drawl hits the air.
3. People have no patiience.
4. You could more than likely grab something from the walmart deli, eat it in the mcdonalds diniing area, and throw away the packaging without paying for it.
