i showed up at veterans park around noon for our park party… Helped setup, got the laptop prepped, and hit record. I got all 9 hours of the various sets recorded. Had a good time, made some of my punch, got sloshed, had my hair cut (in front of everyone), and played some sand volleyball. Met some new people that I’ve talked to online (Shay, April, Sam), and got to see alot of the Springfield (Nolo, Shagee, Baylor, Brooke, eZe) and Oklahoma (Danny, Kolby, Ashley) people for the first time in what seems forever.
Left the park shortly after 9pm. Went to party #2 at Casey & Holly’s place. Chilled there for awhile, ate some guacamole, listened to music, and watched Holly & Justin play Tekken 4 on the 4′ x 3′ HDTV. Nice.
Got home around 11pm, unloaded the car from the festivities, and showered…. felt great, cleaned off all the extra hair, not to mention wet sand that was everywhere.
Got in my car, got a phone call from my friend Casi, wondering where I was. Apparently, I passed her outside the apartment, but she didn’t recognize me.
Headed over to party #3…. Sarah’s birthday party… I didn’t know if I would know many people there, but immediately saw Brad and Tony before entering the house. Suprised a few people with the lack of hair. Sarah, Amy, and Crystal all looked really nice in their dresses. Hubba Hubba. Talked with my friend Craig for a bit outside, said hi to Naomi, Amy, Sarah, and Crystal. I wasn’t there for very long, but I really wanted to at least stop in for a bit. I was planning on coming back, actually, but I didn’t get a chance to (driving drunk people home).
Made it over to Randy’s house for party #4. Saw a bunch of people from parties #1 and #2, chatted with some other friends. I had enough alcohol earlier in the day, so I avoided the kegs. Shocked more people with the haircut.
Drove some drunk friends back to the Armz, and finally fell asleep around 3.
Time to spend a chill sunday watching the rain.
