Fayetteville Arts Festival 2005 Poetry Slam Semi-Finals: The Winners
The Arkansas vs. The World Poetry Slam Semi-Finals were held last night.
The winners were Scott Crain from Siloam Springs, Jessica Keahey of Fayetteville, Harry McDermott of Fayetteville and TheMo-Man of Little Rock. They will join 2005 Ozark Poetry Slam Champion Hannah Moore from Russellville to make this year’s Arkansas Poetry Slam Team.

at the UA Merchant Fair, one tent had a “make your own aquarium” thing going… you got a lil portable plastic tank, added rocks, and a little plant, and they added water and a fish.
I got a little Comet Goldfish. The fish is named “Sticks”. (or Styx? Hmmmm)

saturday night indian feast
last saturday, i decided i’d make indian food.
so, using recipes from http://zenandjuice.com/recipes/, I made Palak Paneer (Creamed spinach with cheese), and Naan.
Of course, I modified the Naan recipe to make it low-carb. (note: low-carb naan SUCKS. however, once you load it up with indian seasoned gravies, it’s all good baby).
