Helen Phillips, the judge for the Visual Arts Exhibition will present her own work.
Helen is a nationally known ceramicist and professor of fine art at the University of Central Arkansas. She has juried regional, national and international shows, including the Southeastern College Arts Conference Artistic Fellowship, Society of Layerists in Multi-Media National Conference Exhibition and the Young Artists at the Arkansas Arts Center.
Her work has been shown at the Arkansas Arts Center, Appalachian Center for Crafts, Baum Gallery at the University of Central Arkansas and the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Other exhibitions include Clay USA, Wichita National, San Angelo National, LeGrange National, Brenau UniversityBiannual and the Annual Delta Exhibition. She received an Arkansas Arts Fellowship.
