Showing hidden files in OSX

from OSXFAQ - Technical News and Support for Mac OS X
by default, Mac OSX will not show hidden files (those beginning with a period) in Finder.
You can change this behavior by typing this command in Terminal:

defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles TRUEkillall Finder
to reverse it, change TRUE to FALSE.

Squirrel.

There’s a mural painted in the ARKU Servery of Old Main.
It’s fancy.  The door to Old Main is facing the same direction as if we stood in front of the real one.  I bet they planned it that way.

The best thing about the mural though is the squirrel.
