I’ve been using Microsoft’s Synctoy for awhile now to do daily backups of my laptop files to my server.
It works great, for the most part. But I’ve noticed that with the “Echo” function (which I use), it does make a mirror of my laptop files, deletes any files from the server that are no longer [...]

Muggles, Not Buggles
I love the packing from amazon.com that they used to deliver the new Harry Potter book. Especially the “Attention Muggles: Do Not Deliver or Open Before July 21!” warning.
The Real Reason Smokey Bones Closed
There’s been a lot of talk in the town (especially in some local magazines and papers) about too many restaurants opening around the mall, and the lack of business causing some of them to close. Blah Blah Blah. That’s not true.
The real reason is that the parent company closed A LOT of their stores, not [...]
The Walking Company
Just wanted to make note of GREAT customer service that I experienced yesterday.
On 4/28, I purchased a pair of Ecco Receptor Devil Ray shoes from The Walking Company in the Northwest Arkansas Mall.
Last week, I noticed that the stitching on one of the shoes above the toe came undone.
Yesterday, I went to The Walking Company, [...]
Intelligentsia Coffe: Zirikana, Rwanda
The latest coffee I’ve purchased from Intelligentsia:
Zirikana, Rwanda
A unique departure from the classic profile of Rwandan coffees, the cup is smooth and seamless, with notes of molasses, dark chocolate and black tea. Low in acidity, the coffee is heavy in body and finishes with a touch of spice and malt.

Peet’s Coffee
While in Cambridge, I went to Peet’s Coffee, and purchased 3 offerings:
Aged Sumatra
A very rich coffee with a slight hint of a tropical wood flavor, a concentrated dried fruit sweetness, herbal notes, and ample body.
Good aged coffees are very hard to find, due to the lengthy aging process and the fact that coffee exporters usually [...]

On the Road to Boston
Flight: XNA to Memphis to Boston (NorthWest Airline – NWA, yo)
Leaving XNA at 12:34pm to Memphis (Arriving 1:45pm).
Departing Memphis at 2:15pm, landing in Boston at 6:25pm.
In theory.
We start off on time, then there’s a “10 minute delay” due to “micro-bursts” over Memphis, shutting down that airport.
How will this affect my 2:15 flight to Boston? I [...]
Alain Mikli Glasses
I ordered a pair of Alain Mikli A0420-04 glasses a couple weeks ago at the annual Edward’s Optical Frame Show. Grey and Black split:
Boston Bound
I’ll be in Boston, MA next week. Anything exciting going on (Other than the Travis concert)?
Any recommendations on places to see ?
