Today I ate lunch at Pho Quyen (http://phoquyen.us/ - site not online yet), a new Vietnamese Souphouse on 6th street !
Jill and I both had the Pho. It was really good. Tried it with the flank, brisket, and meatball.

Peticides?
I learned some valuable tips tonight while watching our local news. Apparently, in order to protect our pets, we should store peticides where pets can’t get at them.

According to Tuned In, Conor Oberst (a.k.a. Bright Eyes) and the Mystic Valley Band and Jenny Lewis (singer from Rilo Kiley) are playing at George’s Majestic Lounge on Sept 23rd. Tickets are $25, and they go on sale at 9 a.m. June 20 (Friday) through George’s Web site.

Another Fayetteville Landmark to be removed
It looks like another Fayetteville landmark, the Renaissance Hotel Crane, is going to be taken down. First appearing on the downtown skyline in late 2006, the crane served as a symbol of progress and grand architecture, heralding the arrival of the Renaissance Hotel, and the re-vitalization of Downtown Fayetteville.
